Marissa Horton signs with Alabama A&M
It's official, Marissa Horton is now an Alabama A&M player and is playing at NCAA Division 1 level this Fall!

Marissa just finished her PLSQ-F season with Outremont before flying down to Alabama to start her college career at Alabama A&M University, where she already scored her first collegiate goal in her 3rd NCAA Division 1 game. Here's what she had to say about her college process:
Why did you choose Alabama A&M?
I chose Alabama A&M because I was given an offer for Fall 2021, and I wanted to get started in University as soon as possible. I also really liked the coach and players when I got a chance to talk with them, so I decided to go ahead and accept the offer.
Were you contacted by other schools?
I’d been in contact with many other schools over my time with Sports Ambitions, and at the time of accepting the offer I was in discussion with another University, but for 2022.
How did Sports Ambitions help you?
Sports Ambitions helped answer any questions that I had, and ensured that everything pertaining to my eligibility was complete. They helped make a very complicated process much easier. I also had the opportunity to talk with so many schools, something that would not have been possible without their help. Through their help I was able to obtain a scholarship to a University, and I am very grateful for their help throughout the entire process.
How was the college process?
Honestly the college process was not an easy thing to navigate, but it was definitely made easier with the help of Sports Ambitions. It was stressful at times, but I believe that it was a worthwhile thing to go through.

We wish you the best of luck in your college career Marissa and will be following you closely!
